Gilbert Kodilinye

Gilbert Kodilinye studied law at Oxford University, where he obtained the BA and MA in Jurisprudence. He also holds an LLM degree from London University. He was a Professor of Law at the University of the West Indies for 19 years. He is the author of numerous articles in international journals on aspects of tort law, real property and the law of trusts, and author or co-author of five texts in the Routledge/Cavendish Commonwealth Caribbean Law Series. Gilbert is a Barrister (England and Wales) and an Attorney-at-Law (St Lucia). He is a member of the Society of Legal Scholars (SLS) and the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL). He is a certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E) and a certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM).
 
He has provided expert opinions and depositions for courts in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom on aspects of Caribbean tort and real property law.
