Vanessa Kodilinye

Dr. Vanessa Kodilinye is a law graduate of the University of the West Indies. She holds an LLM degree in Information Technology and Telecommunications Law from the University of Strathclyde, United Kingdom, and a Doctorate degree from the Leuphana University, Lüneburg, Germany, on the subject of data protection law. Vanessa is a solicitor (England and Wales) (non-practising). She is a member of the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators (AIPN), the International Trademark Association (INTA), the International Technology Law Association (ITech Law). She is also an anti-money laundering specialist certified by the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists (ACAMS).
Her publications include articles in the Caribbean Law Review on the topics of litigation privilege, property damage, and surveillance technology, and she has co-authored a text in the Routledge/Cavendish Commonwealth Caribbean Law Series. She has been in private practice in Barbados since 1999. Vanessa acts for several international corporate clients, and is regularly consulted on issues of local commercial law.
